The events that relate to this article take place in and around Brewer Street in the Ryecroft area of Walsall. On 7th April 1917, Second Lieutenant Thomas Mann left Tern Hill on a routine flight to the Castle Bromwich in his Avro 504 aircraft.       Hi Linda, I am not sure why, but it does keep returning to the post page. I redid the link and it still does the same. All stories are available from the home page – if you go to the Walsall heading, then down to the ‘Walsall Coroner’s stories’,it should appear in a box menu under that. It is also available in printed form – it is in the Whisper’s From The Past book, which you can get at the Walsall Local History Centre. Cheers.
