Tales from the Walsall Coroner

The Walsall Coroner (now the Black Country Coroner) was employed from 1910 onward – before that, the duty was performed by a Staffordshire County Council officer (South-East Coroner’s District). Over the years there have been a number of cases that Coroner has dealt with that have been particularly sad, bizarre, or mysterious. The Walsall Local History Centre holds these papers and I thought, as i have listed them, that I would bring some of these cases to light…. click on the story that appears in the menu to the side
